What is PUR
Most veterinary tubing is soft because something was added to make it soft. PURTUBE® is not. It carries no phthalates and no plasticizers — the only phthalate free, plasticizer free tube on the market — and it is extruded from FDA material in the United States.
Printed on every length of tube, not just on the packaging: FDA MATERIAL — Phthalate Free.
Nothing was added to the polymer to soften it, so there is nothing in it to leach out or migrate.
Made by an equine vet with design intent, for veterinarians — not adapted from industrial hose.
In the field
Barn aisle, pasture, or trailer — PURTUBE® goes where the horse is. Clear wall so you can see what is moving through the tube, and the same material whether you are passing a nasogastric tube or running a uterine lavage.
Marked & traceable
Product, origin, material, lot number, date and a scannable code — all extrusion-printed along the length. Cut a section and the identification stays with it.
